I confirm how to set
initial font size (as you know and did already):
(rightclick >) Options > Preferences > Subtitles
(picture shown in previous post by
baracuda)
Then click on button [Font] (below the subtitle sample) and select font (name, style and size
as well as colour and script).
Note this should be done separately for [Primary subtitles] and [Secondary subtitles].
That's indeed the way to set the
initial font size.
But other options may influence the actual size, like indicated by
baracuda in his post.
It is also possible that you have previously played a movie with a large fontsize. This setting (for
that movie) may be remembered by BS.Player depending on the option "Remember movie settings" being selected or not under
(rightclick >) Options > Preferences > General [General settings]
Further, you may also have a look if selection/deselection of "Draw subtitles to Overlay surface" makes a difference!
