The file "mp4vdec.ax" is not a Video file, but it's a WinDVD decoder for MP4 video files.
Did you try to play an AVI file and BSplayer gave you an error message saying that "an error occured with mp4vdec.ax file"?
If the answer is yes, try to un-register the WinDVD decoder by following these steps:
1. In Windows Start menu press the Run item
2. In the Run window type this: regsvr32 /u "C:\Program Files\InterVideo\Common\Bin\MP4VDEC.ax" and press enter
