When I play the DVD on my PS3 I can hear the DTS 5.1 clearly over all the speakers, this is my reference. I downloaded the movie in 720p+DTS and played it on BSPLayer; even though the audio menu indicated DTS 5.1 I could not hear the rear channels. Question #1: What could be the problem?

Problem solved It turns out the X-fi sound card changed its output mode from 5.1 channels to Headphones (don't know why, this is another problem to solve, not in this forum) I restored the 5.1 channels and the sound is fine, coming out from all speakers. |
