Default Xvid Sound Problem

Hello i have version 2.12 and i have a problem with a couple xvid movies. There is no sound! subtitles and image is ok but no sound. I tried with wmp and the sound is normal... any option i should change....?????
the sound is in ac3 format

Have you installed AC3Filter?
What does GSpot says about audio codecs for that file and your system?

Have you read the sticky BSPeter's FAQs?

I had same problem. As you said, install AC3 filter, howto do it.
