Re: what ac3 ? i want dts !!
To playback AC-3 and Digital Theater Systems elementary streams using DirectShow you need AC3/DTS source filter. http://www.free-codecs.com/download/...rce_Filter.htm Ask if you need help registering it. You may continue using either ffdshow or Ac3Filter for the actual decoding. |

Download the archive from the link above. Extract the content somwhere on the hard drive. Don't delete the extracted folder. Now, open BSPlayer, rightclick->options->preferences->filter management. Go to the label "filter manger" and go to register. Now browse to the location of the folder named dtsac3_source........, go to subfolder named release unicode and load the file named dtsac3source.ax (you may not be able to see the extension). Hit OK. Now it should play. Tested wit 5.1 DTS, but only on 2 spk configuration, I don't have a 5.1 system. PS. Don't forget to go to file association preferences in BSPlayer and add the .dts extension. |

First image is the detailed information about playing a .dts file. The second one is about how to make add .dts extension to BSPlayer's preferences. First type in the white box "dts" then press "add extension" and the, enable dts in the left column LE, reversed order. |

do you have someone professional that can build a guide ? to how to hear "dts " with "bs " because 3 people 'with 3 new AMD computer with HD sound card can't understand how to hear " dts " with "bs " ? and why " bs " can't fix that ? |

O, yes, here is the professional explanation: Download dtsac3_source filter and register it using regsvr32. Add the file extension to BSPlayer's preferences. Run the file. Now it's clear ? |

so you hear dTs with " bs" you need a c0dec... !!!! which identify your data as " dts ", tell it'''s playing time and pass frames for da DEKODER ... How's that? 1. Download this archive and decompress it. It doesn't matter if you do it on C, D or any other partition. 2. Put one copy of dtsac3source.ax to your system directory (usually C:\Windows\System32). 3. Open Start -> Run and type "regsvr32.exe dtsac3source.ax" 4. A message should appear telling you that you've successfully registered the filter. 5. Drag a correctly ripped *.dts file over BSPlayer's main window to open it. Notes: It is not mandatory to put the filter in system directory. To decode the DTS stream in ffdshow you need to select "libdts". Choosing "S/PDIF" will make an attempt to pass unaltered DTS data to an external decoder. |
