Problem with BSplayer 1.00

Help me please...i have a problem with BSPlayer 1.00, it doesn't show me the video and the audio neither...it reproduces the movie (.avi) cause i have the needed codecs. It's weird cause i was listening mp3 in winamp and then i closed it and open the .avi file and this error comes:
BSPlayer v1.00.807, Unhandled exception at EIP: 004E07C3
If you click 'Close' application will be terminated.
Please report this info to the author with description what were you doing.

And then this:

And since then i have no audio for all the applications and i can't see anything in BSplayer...
The dispositives are correct (no admiration or exclamation signs) and the codecs too...so i don't have an idea of what is...

Re: Problem with BSplayer 1.00

It's hard to answer without access to that computer for experiments. The DirectShow is a real mess. It is quite hard to find a stable working set of codecs for all needed formats.

There may have been a bug in that version of BSPlayer.
This post (7th March 2004) seems to report a similar problem as yours.
Unfortunately the versions which I still have on my PC for testing purposes do not include that version, so I'm unable to test.
(I keep version 0.86.501 version 1.37.826 (version 1.41 Pro) and most recent version installed (as per today: 2.23.953)).
So I would suggest to upgrade to one of these versions.
As you also mention having no sound for any application, maybe first try to re-register quartz.dll: http://bsplayer.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=15157#15157
(which often seemed to do the trick under Windows-versions prior to Vista).

Thanks...but...i've already fix it...it was something wrong with the program's version cause when i played a movie it turned my volume out...but with moving the volume up or down the audio returned...so i just get another version and now i am happy with no problems :D
