doublecheck and make sure mpeg1/mpeg2 are checked...

doublecheck and make sure mpeg1/mpeg2 are checked under the "Codecs" section of the ffdshow configuration app. if any mpg's are open when you do this, you'll need to close & reopen them.

if the install the ffdshow filter and configure...

if the install the ffdshow filter and configure ffdshow to use the mpg codec, you will be able to adjust brightness/contrast/etc.
