So maybe BSPlayer does not take into account that...

So maybe BSPlayer does not take into account that Italic is a different font in fact and will most likely not match in width.

This issue is present also on my system using BSPlayer 1.36. BSPlayer should allow some padding while drawing subititles and not try to calculate the exact dimensions.
