Hmm, the internal OGG filter of MPC has no problem with the subtitles. So what is the difference? is there any other subtitle filters than VobSub/VSFilter to try?

No, it would normally not be a problem. But after virtualdubmod is finished parsing the OGG streams, the subtitles dont work anymore,and as such, the file plays just fine if I save it, just that...

Managed to find Gabest Matroska Splitter, and installed that. MKV files works perfectly, as they did with the Haali splitter too.

Only problem now is that I have no DirectShow filter that works...

Yes, and then I get no subtitles, and I can not play mkv files. And even without any other filter, BSPlayer tries to play the subs, and crashes.
