Can't open .AVI files - SOLVED !!!

Since Haali Media Splitter and "regsrv32 quartz.dll" did not work, I downloaded and installed K-Lite Mega Codec Pack 4.17. AVI files now open and play OK. Thanks a lot for your interest !!!

CANNOT OPEN .AVI FILES

I cannot check the filter options of an .avi file, since it cannot open it. If it helps, i send the filter options of a .mpeg file that can play OK. I only have installed ffdshow tryouts revision...

My BSweet Player can't open .avi files. The characteristics of my system are these :

Intel Pentium 4 3.0 GHZ, WinXP SP2
NVidia G-Force 6600, Driver version 6.14.11.7519, 16/05/2008
BSplayer Pro...
