First info refer to an MPEG/MPEG2 file, the second info to an MPEG4-AVC file with included VobSub subtitles.
Last ones should work if Vsfilter is installed and in BSPlayer's subtitles preferences...

Do you refer to SUP subtitles ? Ripped subtitles...

Do you refer to SUP subtitles ? Ripped subtitles from BR disks in MKV containers ?
If so, at this moment, as far as I know, only VLC have support for them.
