If you want to save in avi format (enhanced avi)...

If you want to save in avi format (enhanced avi) you need something like AviMux. VirtualDubMod can do that only to ogm files.

No, not at all.
To make this happen' use VirtualDubMod. In stream list disable the second audio stream, add the subtitle file as a different stream and save ogm file using direct stream copy....
