If you want to move the subtitle on the black border beneath the film, just press Shift+down (or up, suit yourself) arrow. You can go from top of video to bottom of screen, not on the black border at...

Open movie->rightclick->subtitles->subtitle...

Open movie->rightclick->subtitles->subtitle properties->uncheck transparent.
