Periodic Static Sound Bursts
 

Hi. I installed the full version on a Pivos Xios DS media player (Arm7). I can stream videos smoothly using CIFS manager to mount a network share, which allows for hardware acceleration (over gigabit lan connection)

When I play DD5.1 encoded rips (1080p or 720p video) I get static bursts (white noise) every 1.5 seconds, on top of the normal sound track (which sounds perfect and is in sync with the video). The video is smooth with no stuttering.

I am using hardware decode (same issue with BSplayer acceleration or System acceleration); and I did not install the Arm7 add-on, because BS player did not request it. Software decode stutters badly.

Lower quality videos with two channel sound or mp3-sound play fine.

All of these videos play perfectly on my Galaxy Tab 7.0, over wifi using the default BSplayer install.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
