Default Remotely accessing

I am currently trying out the free version, and like it so far and will probably purchase. One thing though, you can access local and lan, but what about a remote location? I would like to be able to access my NAS when I am away from home. I tried setting up a port forward rule in my firewall, but can't get BSPlayer to connect. I've tried setting up the port when adding a new server to the list as follows 192.168.1.1:4000 for example. Is it possible to do this?

Thanks

Currently this is not possible, perhaps in one of future versions.
