Unable to access Windows Shared Folder
 

Hey guys,

I have a weird issue since i moved to a new phone, namely i cannot access windows shared folder from BS Player. I used to play movies with subtitles just fine on old phone (Xperia Z3+ and Z5) but on new phone it cannot even auto discover the folder, and when i try to add it manually, i am successful but cannot access it. It shows up with an error.

New phone is Xiaomi Mi A1
Android version is 8.0.0 (Oreo).

Is there some kind of compatibility issue with Oreo version?
Same problem i have when i try with VLC Player but i can access windows shared folder just fine with ES File Explorer.
I can that way play the video from BS Player but still cannot access shared subtitles :(

Any ideas?
