Default please help

When I load a file into BSplayer i get the "Overlay Failed!" message, then, I load it again and I get:

BSPlayer v0.86.496, Unhandled exception at EIP: 004C3609
If you click 'Close' application will be terminated.
Please report this info to the author with description what were you doing.
Access violation at address 004C3609 in module 'BPLAY.EXE'. Read of address FFFFFFFF

after this it crashes, can someone help me?

Perhaps you should first download a newer version?

thanks for the tip, but it's the same with every build. i've formatted my hard drives twice today and the bug kept coming. :? :(

Some details about video card, operating system, cpu, directx version ?
