Major crash in W2K, WXP.

Here's a bug for you:

1. In W2K, set "Use Web view" to enabled (this is the standart folder view with preview of the selected files on the left part of a folder window)
2. Select a movie, wait till it shows in the small preview window
3. Start the movie (default program is BSPLAYER)
4. "Overlay failed" message is display, press OK.
5. Then - nothing happens (!). Movie used to start in non-overlay window on versions before
6. Drag the movie to BSplayer - It will start, then crash immediately.

W2K-SP4, bsplayer .499, GeforceMX w/ Detonators 43.45

That is already known. Use the FAQ, or search the Forum to find a solution for your problem. Please use the latest built 500.

P.S. I use WinXP and I have Geforce4 with detonator 44.03 but I don't get any error message with overlay set in mode 1.

don't quite understand you

I don't have a problem at all, the problem is that BSPlayer CRASHES.
And it wasn't crashing before (builds <=495).
See point '6' of my first post.

If that problem is known, then OK...

update:

seems OK in the .500 build, hope it stays fixed for the next ones.
