BSPlayer fullscreen and pan&scan

Hi everybody,
this is my first message in this forum. I beg your pardon if the topic was already discussed but I was not able to find it.

I've BSPlayer 2.62 with Windows XP at 1920x1080 Full-HD resolution. When I see a video (my test is now on a 720x416 video, almost 16:9, but it happens with all other videos, even if standard 640x480) everytime i put fullscreen on/off (key "F") the pan&scan reduces itself. This bug didn't happen when I have a 4:3 monitor (1280x1024) on the same PC.

I already noticed this effect on other 16:9 screens, e.g. on some notebook, also with previous BSPlayer versions.

What's the trouble?

Thanks in advance
DG67

I am not sure I understand what's the exact problem in here. Could you explain ?

open a video with a bsplayer.
press F to go to full screen. Pan&Scan is 0 and the video fills the screen.
press F to go out and come back to normal screen.
press F again for full screen. Pan&Scan is reduced to a negative value and the video is smaller on the screen.
...

everytime you go to full screen pan&scan will be reduced until the screen is totally blank.

EDIT: No bug when the video has a 1920x1080 resolution.

I recall another bug report as yours. Let me check the forum.

Seems the problem was solved by a clean reinstall of BSPlayer. If you do so, you can also install the newer version, 2.63.1071

Well, thanks, the clean reinstall seems to work... I should understand why, then... :) maybe the Bsplayer.xml in the wrong place?

Maybe an error in XML file, the one that holds BSPlayer's settings. You can save the current XML file and compare it with the one ggenerated by the new install and see where the difference is.

Well... the old BSPlayer.xml was in a different folder and was 0 bytes... :omg:
