Ogg Media container + External Subs problems

Whenever i try to play OGM files and thers a Sub file (in Subviewer 2 format) with same name the 1.00.803 build crashes giving following errormsg:

If you click 'Close' application will be terminated.

This error does not occur if the file is AVI file with MP3 sound.

Hi!

My system used too crash when I was using the Overlay-Mode, I just had to tick i off in the Video and the Subtitle Properties and everything worked fine again.

I guess it is the VGA-Card that can't do overlay.

Hope this helps.

No, that doesen't help.
And my Radeon 9800Pro can do overlay.

So this is a real bug, not user error.

The same thing happens to me. I would actually prefer to disable subtitles in BSPlayer and let ffdshow handle them, but disabling subtitles ALSO crashes BSPlayer! Otherwise it's such a great player I would love to be able to use it, but I can't until these bugs are fixed.

Well its been many months now and this thing is still not fixed!!!!!!!!!

Now it just says: "BSPlayer v1.00.807, Unhandled exception at EIP: 00411C52
If you click 'Close' application will be terminated.

That happens with .ogm files (divx 5.11 video + ogg audio) and when thers a subtitle file with same name as movie in same directory.

My guestion is: Why make new program, when it performs much worse than original??
Why try to fix something that is not broke?

Im still using the pre RC1 builds that work just fine with Ogg media files and subs. The RC1 builds r just crappy and buggy piece of program with candy exterior.
