Default BS crach when Subtitle show

I am trying to see this movie.
On my XP-Pro machine , 2000+Mhz, 256MB, 64MB Video, its OK on the monitor (file is drawn from other PC during play)

On the other PC (W98se 550Mhz 256MB, 128MB video) the picture is OK on my widescreen TV (which funktions also as monitor, using TV out)
However, when I order BS player to open the Subtitle file, BSjams whenever the first subtitle is supposed to show on the screen.

It has to with an error adres FFFFFFFF something.
It cant be the file. Both PC use the same source
It cant be the system according to the minimum recommandations

Anyone?

Posting the exact error message will be very helpful.
How big is the subtitle file ? 20-50 Kb or 1-5 MB ?
Can you open it using wordpad ?

I get his error when trying to play a file with subtitles.

Quote:
The instruction at "0x00000000" referenced memory at 0x00000000". The memory could not be "read"
Subtitles on some files ar "baked" in. But that does not mather. All files with subtitles will crash BSplayer with this error.

Since all my movies has got a subtitles - you quess that it working for me. It's true that I convert all to the MicroDVD format, but like I say, it does work

There is only one thing - when the time in microDVD subtitles start with -50 frame or something crazy like this (anything bellow zero), then BSplayer refuse to play, and just show black window - no movie or sound :P

But this is not a bsplayer fault - this is just faulty subtitle

Your problem, however, looks like you misconfigured your BSPlayer and it trying to use some font, not installed in your system or something like that.
Try either edit your options, or back them up, delete them in the BSplayer directory and try setup it from scratch again
Then it will work, I promise :P
