Problems with rewinding video files.

The problem is, they won't rewind. Whenever I try, the video freezes, and then jumps back to the beginning.

Fast forward, jump forward, and jump backward all work as they are supposed to. It is only rewind that is causing a problem.

I am using the latest build of BSPlayer, and this problem has occurred with every version for me.

Have a Radeon AIW, and the files I am trying to rewind are created by this card, in the mpg format. Basically they are mpeg2 files.

Anyone else experiencing a problem with this?

Thanks!

Basically is the fault of the MPEG2 decoder that can't support rewind.

is the an mpeg2 decoder...

Is there an mpeg2 decoder I can install that would allow for such a function, or should I just stick the my AIW software and forget about it?

I am using Elecard 2 beta and it works ok. FF and REW.

Do you get the annoying watermark in the upper right hand corner?

The 9 squares ? Yes, I have them here. And I use this codec for about 2 years now. It doesn't bother me.
