Subs: last character in 1st line cut off, still in build814
 

It's not consistent - I cannot determine a special triggering subtitle picture configuration - but keeps re-appearing so so often that's bothering me.
There doesn't seem to be a relation to length of same or following line, nor the type of character.

It's always in the first line, last character on right hand side, about 2 horizontal pixel are missing at the right.
Default font (arial), using internal sub engine, subripper (srt) format (not any other in use :) )

And yes: latest player version.

Anyone seen this as well?

Yes I can confirm (exists for a longer while already, but it doesn't really disturb me)

I saw sometimes something like it too - one longer subtitles line ending with M or whatever in capital letter and the leter was somehow cripled, but not just few missing pixels, a lot's of them.
Never happen for me before :roll:

bluedan - what grx card are you using? Me nVidia FX5600XT :oops:

Funny,

bst worked on this error with the latest version (build814), but to my eyes there are still one ore two pixels missing!!
So it's even less visible than before but still there. :)

trodas, can you confirm... again?

Happens to me too, ATI Radeon 9600, WinXP.
It doesn't happen all the time, and with different characters (but mostly 't' I think)

so any devs acknowledging this problem? my other media players play it fine. 1 line or 2 is does it. its just the last text so far its my .ogm files with subs are having this problem. my avi with .idx and .rar subs work fine.

Sorry to disapoint you, bluedan, but I can't see anything wrong, using the latest 1.21 build 816 version anymore :roll: :oops:

The only one problem is, when the subtitle hit the corner of the videooverlay, then there are just part of the last char visible, it looks especially weird, the the char is "?", but that it is. No bug found anymore... :oops:

Try other gfx card, some gfx cards are faulty. No joke. I saw one old GF2GT one, that have similar problem, but it is in the HW, mine GF2Ti did not have this glitch... :wink:

Yesterday, BSPlayer 1.21 build 816, the same happened again, with the t-character.
Not the most important bug to fix, but still it annoys me.
