BS Player no longer opening incomplete files
 

Hi,

I recently upgraded to v1.36.825 from v1.32.820 and now if i have an incomplete .avi (usually divx) it says cannot open file. What it used to do, is take a while to read the file, give me a message to the extent that the file may be slow to access, but then continue on to play it. So it would allow me to view an incomplete file. Now it no longer does that. I uninstalled v1.36.825, deleted the folder that was left and reinstalled the older version, but it is no longer doing it either, doing the same thing as v1.36.825.

I have the option checked to open locked media... but that is only good if a file is currently being downloaded. What I am talking about is once a file has successfully downloaded to my HD and its not "locked" anymore, but the file really is not complete, it gives me that error.

Anyone have any ideas on how i can get BS Player to play incomplete files again?
