Use only basic Latin alphanumeric characters in filenames. You will come across non-Unicode software (or file systems) in the future, for example, when recovering data using a boot CD. By creating filenames containing special characters you risk losing data!

Default Well, That's hardly a solution !

I don't expect full hebrew support, but at least to be able to open a movie.
While windows is fully support hebrew, thats doesn't seems to be a problem for a media player.

Thanks, Sagiv

It doesn't concern mpeg1 or 2 movies by any chance whilst using ffdshow?

The alpha version also includes experimental playback for MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 files (such as VCD and SVCD movies), which works pretty damn well. Only problem is that MPEG-2 playback can't play the SVCD clips directly from the CD, but requires the video to be extracted to the HDD by using VCDGear first.

No, it doesn't.
It's every video file with hebrew name, but i do work sometimes with ffdshow, but i don't think it's the problem.
