Subtitles with MKV files get cut

If I play MKV files and try to display subtitles (microdvd sub format), then occasionally the subtitles get cut so that characters from the beginning and end of the line are missing or shown only in half. This seems to only occur if there are two lines of subtitles and it seems to always concern the upper line. This happens in all MKV files that I have. If I try to use the same subtitle on a file of some other video format (i.e. XVID), it displays correctly. I've tried different subtitle settings, font size etc. but those have no effect.

Do you use Haali media splitter ? AFAIK this appears to happend only in this case. When using Gabest mkv splitter all is OK.

Yes, you are right. I was using Haali media splitter. I installed Gabest mkv splitter, and now it seems to be working.

Glad to hear that.
