Browser and video issues?
 

I have BSplayer Pro 2.26 and use ffdshow

First, for some odd reason, my default browser keeps getting changed from Firefox to IE when I use BSplayer.

Second, when I play videos, particularly those with high action scenes, I get these distorted lines across the screen. I don't know what they are called but it's like a straight-line crack across the picture that occurs sporadically during action sequences or when there's a lot of movement. Also this, doesn't happen at all when I use windows media player and happens less often when I use vlc

If these problems have been resolved already, please direct me to the solution. Any help would be appreciated.
