[SOLVED] Problems with full-screen on LCD TV

I'm having a problem with full-screen, I would need your help! The bug is pretty annoying.

When I switch to full screen (key F), the screen becomes black, although the interface in the bottom of the screen is there. When I switch to movie mode (key M), the movie displayes correctly. But the subtitle isn't, every line is like one character long. (And I haven't used movie mode ever, full-screen was good enough!) What happened with the good-old full screen?

Pretty funny, because I had this problem before, switched to an other (old) VGA adapter (see technicals), and the problem disappeared. Then a month ago I bought BSPlayer, after so many years, and around version 2.31 I'm watching a movie, it skips, freezes. Restart, and the problem is there again.

Technicals:
Build 974
NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 440 (VGA + TV-Out)
Grundig LCD TV on the VGA port
Resolution 1360x768

Did BSPlayer pop up a message something like "insuficient video memory swiching to RGB" ?
If I recall corectly, MX440 cards are 32/64 MB video cards based on 64 bits memory bandwith and I am afraid that swiching to RGB mode it's not the best thing. So, In BSPlayer preferences, does swiching to "overlay mixer" help or not ?

solution found

dear robertpek:
found the solution myself since no one answered:
just click:"shift+o" on the black screen,
then you get the manual "pan scan".
moove the marker to the right until you get the pictuer.
fix it to the size of your full screen and you'r done.
you can enter the pan scan also by right clicking the mouth and then choose video-pan scan-manual.
after you fix it you can turn the pan scan into automatic.
hope it helps you

Thx for your answer! The problem is that it worked before, with the same card. Although you may be right, I'm surely no expert in hardware issues.

Wow, thx, Aophir!!! Your solution worked although I haven't got the slightest idea, why... ;-) I hope, one of the officials will have enough time to explain the reason, because they seem to have time to ask you not to open a second post... ;-)

Dear Officials, please do not spoil my enthusiasm! I bought this nice piece of software because I believe it is really good and has a cool support! And I don't think my problem is of the RTFM type not worth mentioning... Cheers and have a nice day!

Officials will answer to customer's help questions sent trough the support form, Ico-man replied to told you to not create double posts since he write on this forum as moderator and not as customer supporter.. (I would have done the same if I only had seen it before him)
adicoto (not an official, but a simple user like me and others) asked robertpek to try one solution to pinpoint the problem..

What robertpek can also do is to press the keyboard button "Numerical pad 5", shortcut for Reset command
Hope this works since it's a simpler method..but to cure the symptom is not the right way, since it's the cause of the symptom that has to be cured to not make it happen again ;)

Anyway this topic didn't got more visibility since your double post, in fact the only person who replied here after your other post is...me!
And I reply to the 90% of the posts ;)

Anyway, I'm happy everything's alright :)

@robertpek
If you want and if the problem reappears, try also the Num 5 key and see if the problem get fixed ;)
