Problem with seting

i have few of problems with setings. My system is VISTA im loged with admin rights.

1. i use rendering mode EVR (i tryed every mode but this one is best for me). if i start watching movie i must every time set brightness in color control to -20 (then is black in fullcreen in movie same as black under and below movie area) cose bsplayer dont save this setings. In WMP it look good and black on background is same like black in movie

2. I use bplayer for watching TV trough my external USB TV card. Sound from TV card i have connected directly to my in-line input on my sound card. I dont need Audio source in BSplayer. Then i must every time set Audio/Video capture > Audio source > Microphone to No Audio.

any solutions?

Have you set the installer to save the settings in UserFolder? (C:\Users\USER_NAME\AppData\Roaming\BSplayerPro\)
If not you can reinstall BSplayer or with BSplayer closed you can move the settings.xml file to the user folder
Maybe by doing this will fix both your problems, but for USB tuner devices I have to perform some tests

if i installed bsplayer i set the installer to save the settings in UserFolder.
I tryed set it to install directory but I didnt see any differents.

UAC?

i have UAC dissabled.
I tryed all of rendering mode and with some mode is setting of color controls saved with another not.

(i need brightness about -20 for real black color i dont know why it is in bsplayer lighter then in WMP)
Internal renderer Direct Drav surface:
seting of color control saved but change of brightness have no efect in VISTA.

Internal renderer overlay:
seting of color control saved but it is not good for VISTA aero. And minimum of brightness is 0 i need -20.

Internal renderer RGB mode:
seting of color control saved but change of brightness have no efect in VISTA.

Internal renderer RGB overlay:
my system dont support it.

VMR7:
my system dont support it.

VMR9:
seting of color control saved and i can set brightness to -20. BUT movie look like in low low resolution.

EVR:
seting of color control is NOT saved. I can set brightness to -20 but i must do it every time.

For the color settings, you can try to set them with the Graphic card settings. It should work at least for Overlay renderer, I don't know if it also applies to EVR.
Anyway to properly save the preferences, the settings file in Vista should be located in UserProfile folder and probably to have UAC disabled (unfortunately I can't test with Vista at the moment)
On my computer (WinXP) with other players I have a darker image than BSplayer only when I use overlay renderer just because I've not set the overlay colors in my graphic card's preferences, but as soon as I switch to VMR7 or 9 mode the brightness is the same between BSplayer and other players ;)
