Just downloaded again (now indeed also on download-page indicated as beta 2.54.1040 (201007161615)) and installed it again and indeed this version no longer shows the pop-up window. Very creepy

and irritating

and confusing

those beta-versions/builds with the same names/numbers!
Anyhow now finally BUG SOLVED!!!!

P.S.: Only a few cosmetical/translation bugs remaining!
