Hi guys and gals,

I have a problem with current version (free tested)

I can not start bsplayer like this via command line:

bsplayer.exe http://url/movie/movie.avi [subtitles]

shows opening and then crashes (after a while)
Os Vista SP2 (with and without aero)

tried bplay, bsplay .. to no good.

Could you please check it out?

Thanx and all best

Momchil

Could you paste the/a real url here?

sure

Any URL works. Here is an example:

http://bojinov.info/down/The.Penguins.Of.Madagascar.S01E31-32.DSR.XviD-CAST/the.penguins.of.madagascar.s01e31-32.dsr.xvid-cast.avi

Just tried the following example which worked without any problem (the line below to be selected and simply pasted in [Start] > Run)
This under XP SP3. Didn't try under Vista yet.
"C:\Program Files\Webteh\BSPlayer\bsplayer.exe" "http://www.funnysite.org/content/movie/mo1879.wmv"

sorrry

yeah, the video worked for me, which got me thinkin'
the video you posted was small in size and mine are like reaaly big.

I checked the network traffic and the video was downloading and when the download was completed, it started fine.

So, is this the intended behavior ?

VLC works file, just downloading the buffer and playing it.

Thanx for help guys.

Are settings of (rightclick) > Options > Preferences > General > [Network buffer] OK?
And, more importantly, is "Open locked media files (files in use)" selected under ditto > [General settings] ?

no good yet

Thank you for that

Network buffer was not enabled, that is most probably cause the free version was installed before and now is trial.
Problem is that enabling it did not help.
I put the pre-buffer to 10% for testing and still no go.
Option for locked files was enabled. No other settings were changed since installing.

As far as I know BS.Player has no trial version; only Free and (paid for) Pro. From where did you download?
:confuse:
