VBR encoded sound support

hi

bsplayer is coolest player for me. my favourite. i had some problems yesterday. i tried to watch a movie (osmosis jones). bsplayer could not open it. when i tried to open it in VirtualDub it complained about sound codec and said it is coded with VBR and will be saved with CBR. i saved it and tried to open it again with bsplayer. it worked. i think bsplayer could not understand VBR (i think it stands for Variable Bit Rate). if virtualdub can open this movie why not bsplayer??

thanks

bsplayer plays all my divx encoded w/ vbr mp3. Virtualdub does not support VBR mp3 but the hack Nandub does. your problem is probably not the audio. try upgrading to build 488 if you havnt done so.
