Check settings under (rightclick >) Options > Preferences > Key definitions & WinLIRC > [Multimedia keyboard keys]

what am i to check there? the multimedia keys are working, but they're pressed twice when i am in another window. |

Is "Enable global support for multimedia keys" selected? What happens if you deselect it?
