Play svcd movies

I have BSPlayer version 0.8.6.501.

The problem is that I cant open svcd movies, when I try to open it a box shows reading: unknown fileformat.
I have no problems with the movie using PowerDVD.

Thanks to all help I could get!

SVCD uses MPEG2. Install an MPEG 2 codec (elecard for example). DVDplayers have an built-in codec.
