Your findings are correct. This will probably be fixed in (one of) the next build(s) I would think.
With respect to your remark concerning codec-packs, of which K-Lite's codec-pack is the most well-known, please note that by using codec-packs you might be tempted to install more than necessary. In this connection please note that more surely isn't equivalent to better. To the contrary!!
A general advice re the use of codec-packs:
The art is knowing to restrict yourself!
In most situations, you do not need to install codec/filter packs and certainly not every codec/filter that comes with these packs. In fact, you may run into problems if you install too many codec/filters on your computer. It is highly recommended that you only install the codec/filters that you absolutely need.
I would suggest anyone to follow this advice anytime!

So Do u Recomment KLite Codec Packs or Not ??

and if not
what is the best approach to do ??

i'm convinced with Mr. BSPeter .. but i can't update my self with the most recent codecs and filters .. or what do u think

the problem is only to choose the best of them

and this is YOUR MISSION as a Player Developers .. to update us with best codecs to choose from .. :D

ThanX for ur Support

Just to be clear: I'm not a developper! I've no programming skills. I'm just a fellow-user of BSPlayer, trying to help other users.
With respect to codecs, have a look at this post of adicoto (i.e. another fellow-user).
