the setting shouldn't reset
the same setting can be accessed at Control Panel -> Sounds&Multimedia -> Advanced (depending on which device) -> Performance
you can find the drivers on realtek's webpage www.realtek.com.tw , at Download -> Multimedia ICs -> AC97 Audio Codecs
