trouble playing dvd files
 

when i try to play the DVD disc, an error would pop up saying unable to open file, i have tried to download the elecard. someone help me plz, thx in advance

Which error message did BSplayer give you after the elecard decoder installation? still the "Unable to open" one?

Can DVD players play the dvd? Have you opened the vob files (I think the answer is yes, but I'll ask it anyway :P )? Is the file extension .VOB or AVI or MPG or which one?
Maybe try to save a vob file on your HDD and try to open it locally instead from the DVD. And if it's copyprotected (and obviously you bought the original copy :) ) try also to dechrypt it..
