You have to enable the option "Draw subtitles to Overlay surface" in Subtitles preferences. If this will not work try to change Rendering Mode in Video Preferences -> Video Rendering

You THINK you have tried everything, or you HAVE? Tried all the Video Rendering modes? If you still have problems make sure to have installed at least DirectX 9 and use VMR9 rendering mode.. Plus you can write here which video card you have plugged in your pc, so maybe someone that do heve the same/similar video vard as your can help you to manage this task to work..

this is just plain stupid.. now the player wont project to the tv at all. im gonna use VLC and guess what the text say
