Default Error writing bsplay.bkf

when ever I try to write bookmarks I get the following error:

BSplayer v2.21.950, Unhandled exception at EIP: 004410F9
If you click 'Close' application will be terminated.
Please report this info to the author with description what were you doing.
If you have internet connection, it's recommended to send error report, this will help us solve problems faster.
Unable to write to c:\program files\04_video\Bsplayer\bsplay.bkf
ElniFileException
Call stack: 00000000

I am using Windows Vista home, on a brand new Laptop.

How can that problem be fixed?

Possibly a question of having the proper rights for that folder/file?

as a newbie with vista.
is there a possibility of stoping the UAC for the certain file or for BsPlayer?
