Default Video is re-indexing when opening

Everytime i open a Divx(avi) video file, Bsplayer says file is re-indexing and then it starts to play. But after i open later, again and again re-indexing.

What does it mean and is it codec related? What's R5?

Movie info:

Source: R5
Video Bitrate: 935 kb/s
Audio Bitrate: MPEG-1 Audio layer 3 1h 50m55n
Resolution: 640 x 272
FPS: 25.000
Runtime: 1:50:55

Thanks.

R5 could mean, "DVD release for Russian market", often considered inferior quality to European and American releases.

However, i've fixed problem with the help of Mpeg4Modifier. It re-saves and re-indexes file till forever.

Hi again,
I want to ask: Whenever i join Avi(Xvid) files using HJSPLIT software, i can't open properly using Bsplayer, Bsplayer tries to "reindex" it... Gspot says file has missing parts and truncated. I only saw that issue after using HJSPLIT, there wasn't such problem while joining movies using WinRAR.

What does it mean and the reason?

Thanks...

Well, the reason is... you file was not properly joined and is now corrupted.

Hi, this is not specific for one movie. Eveytime i join movie parts using HJSPLIT i get that problem. With WinRAR, no problem at all.

I don't know this program. Check if it got the parts in correct order. Create a relatively small file and split it into something like 1 kB per part or the lowest size allowed. Verify contents.
