Default v2.35 does not play wmv files

i'm pretty sure it should play them.

so....?


using wmp v11

What video rendering mode are you using?
Tried VMR (or Vista EVR)?
(rightclick >) Options > Preferences > Video > [Video rendering]

using winxp sp3. attached is an image of the video rendering options i have.
