In some cases this can be very useful,
for example if you want to see a video without a logo but without lose time to reencode it..

..or to apply some filter to enhance video quality

Some divx avi contain errors that crash bsplayer, can you add the ability to skip these frames?

Crash reading from DVD

bsplayer crashed reading an avi (divx5) from a DVD-R
with this message:

For the same avi mediaplayer at the same point give me a cyclic redundancy check, however VirtualDub can read the file...
