when I open a movie which has subtitles in the same directory with the same name (eg xmen2.avi and xmen2.srt), the movie is automatically loaded in overlay mode 2, which means that subtitles appear 2...

okay i found the problem. between the time i hadn't edited the srt files and the time i had, i checked "draw subtitles to Overlaysurface" in options/preferences/subtitles.
the bug comes from there....

hi

i use subrip to rip subtitles.
the problem is that it has problems to find the right accents on the letters.
e.g. a "?©" can become a "Ä?", a "??" can become a "?•" etc.
so i used notepad...
