I'm using VMR-9 renderless with the settings I mentioned above and it's working fine now.

I think I have a workaround ...

I doesn't happen when in 'Preferences > Video' I select:
- General: Remember Pan-Scan settings ONLY
- Video Rendereing: Wait for vertical blank
