yes i have fibbled around with the most functions but still a border.

thanks anyway i will try to delete the setting files and see if it helps

hi, yes it happens with every movie and all extensions.

WMP 11 plays movies without this problem.

i save a picture like you said and this was a surprise , the picture saved correctly...

ok , yes i managed to play a film clip without ffdshow loading

and the black border was still there .. =/

im not sure..
how do i unload ffdshow ? do i have to uninstall

peter: i cannot upload a snapshot at this time . i have bsplayer pro 2.28.964

that might have started it all .. while fibbling around with the buttons

but it didnt correct anything to press 5 or M ..
