I tried to play a movie recorded with a Panasonic FZ5 and I wasn't able to play the video stream in BSplayer until I renamed the file extension to 3G2.

I tried with this MOV sample file...

I tried with this MOV sample file (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1425) (Sorenson Video - 76 KB).
I can hear the sound and watch the video:
FFDShow audio and video decoder + Gabest MP4 splitter...
