Just checked again, actually some divx files are ok, the problem is with divx files that are 5 or 10 frames per seconds and no sound. But they curiously played ok with the divx...

I just opened a divx5.2 file by double clicking...

I just opened a divx5.2 file by double clicking on it in my file explorer. A black frame is displayed, and then it simply crashes before any image of the file is displayed!
I have also windows media...

yes i installed 1.22.817, but then the error thing from microsoft mentions...
