But force the overlay mode.
Try last 0.86 build (501). I say is the best ever among old ones.

YOur videocard is verry old. But try to lower the settings to 800x600@256 colors or 16bpp. And under this settings try to set BSPlayer to use overlay mode. A good advice will be to use 0.86 version,...
