Yes you are rigth.But before testing a new software(expecially new directx!) I use driveimage to backup the whole hard disk.
So to go back to directx 8 .1 was fast!!

I have installed the directx9.
1)The volume control from bsplayer does not work.
2)Thers is no way to syncronize video with audio while mediaplayer from microsoft works fine
