BS.Player's Online Subtitles service is powered by:

www.OpenSubtitles.org

www.subtitles.com.br

To enable it (it should be on by default) go to Preferences>Subtitles>tab Online subtitles> check Enable online subtitles.

Subs will be saved to the folder defined in Save downloaded subtitles to field. Options are 1. in folder where the movie is located, or 2. in SUBS sub-folder.

Any chance I can manually add more subtitle providers?

I´m afraid not.
In order to enable BS.Player's team to add another subs-provider, it is necessary that the subtitles website has an API-server which BS.Player can use to search/access the available subtitles.
(As also mentioned in this earlier thread.)

I am currently downloading loads of subtitles from Greek Subtitles, Greek subs,
How can we check if this website meets the requirements to include in your list?

The site must run a script provided by BSPlayer's team. And they must agree with this script, must structurate the subtitles database according to search engine....and so.

BSPlayer has a huge gap on the Brazilian portuguese subtitles.
The biggest brazilian subtitle site is legendas.tv.

Can you try to contact then?
